What to do when you need a break
This week has been a weird one for me; I’ve had a massive headache, an itchy throat, a sore nose, and I’ve been sneezing a lot.
On top of all these allergy symptoms, I’ve had blog work to do, school reading, and of course writing. I’m not complaining, but sometimes it does feel like a bit much and I have to take a break. Here’s what I do when I’ve just had enough.
Nap
Remember nap time in elementary school? Yeah, where’d it go? I’m pretty sure we need more sleep now than we did back then. #TooMuchEnergy
Take a social media break
Unplug from everything! Phone, computer, iPad, anything that requires charging. Live like you’re in the 17th century even just for an hour or two.
Relax
My personal favorite is taking a warm bath, drinking a glass of wine(21+ only!), and simply not doing anything! However, I know some people listen to hard metal to relax.
Watch something funny
I don’t know about you, but sometimes I feel like watching a stupid funny movie. Anything that requires any brain activity on my part is a big fat NO!
Take care of yourself
