Most people go to Trader Joe’s for their low prices on unique food products. The small grocery store carries food products you may not have even heard of, while at the same time carrying the basics of milk, bread, eggs, etc. Since Trader Joe’s is a unique store, people have created many recipes from its products that are to die for. From appetizers to desserts, you will want to try and fall in love with several of them. Below are a few consumer favorites that you need in your life.

Double-Dressed Arugula & Burrata Salad

Ingredients

Dressing

  • ½ teaspoon minced TJ’s garlic

  • ½ teaspoon TJ’s sea salt

  • ¼ cup TJ’s lemon juice (around 2 lemons)

  • ¼ cup TJ’s California Estate extra-virgin olive oil

Salad

  • 1 bag TJ’s organic arugula

  • 4 large TJ’s Heirloom tomatoes (sliced into small wedges)

  • 1 container TJ’s burrata

  • TJ’s balsamic glaze

Directions

  • Mash garlic and salt together with a spoon to form a paste in a small bowl.

  • In another bowl, whisk lemon juice and olive oil together.

  • Slowly, add lemon juice and olive oil to garlic paste and whisk together.

  • In a large serving bowl, toss arugula with the lemon dressing.

  • Arrange tomato wedges on top of arugula.

  • Remove the burrata balls from the container, arrange on top of arugula, and gently break them open with your hands.

  • Drizzle balsamic glaze on salad.

Corny Chicken Poblano Ravioli

Ingredients

  • 1 package TJ’s Mexican style roasted corn with cotija cheese

  • 1 package TJ’s creamy chicken poblano ravioli

  • Olive oil

  • Fresh cilantro, chopped

  • 4 quarts water

Directions

  • In a large pot, boil 4 quarts of water to a boil.

  • While water boils, prepare roasted corn according to the package directions (reserve cotija cheese for serving).

  • Add ravioli to boiling water and cook 5-6 minutes.

  • Using a slotted spoon, transfer ravioli to colander to drain.

  • Prepare plate with the roasted corn followed by the ravioli.

  • Drizzle olive oil.

  • Garnished with the cotija cheese and cilantro.

Chewy Chocolate Mochi Cake

Ingredients

  • TJ’s canola oil spray or coconut oil spray

  • 1 box TJ’s mochi cake mix

  • 1 cup water (room temperature)

  • 2 TJ’s large eggs (beaten)

  • 4 tablespoons TJ’s salted butter (melted)

  • 3 tablespoons TJ’s unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 ½ cups TJ’s semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • Grease 8x8-inch baking pan with canola oil spray.

  • In a large bowl, whisk cake mix and water until smooth.

  • Add butter, eggs, and cocoa powder to cake mix and whisk until smooth.

  • Stir in chocolate chips.

  • Pour batter into greased pan.

  • Bake in oven for 45-50 minutes or until cake pulls away from the sides of the pan.

  • Remove from oven and place onto cooling rack for 15-20 minutes.
