I am totally not a morning person. Well… I’m not completely terrible to deal with, but I’m not fully present without coffee. I read somewhere that you’re most productive in the morning, but mornings are totally underutilized. Here are some habits that will help you get the most out of your mornings.




Start the day with a positive attitude




From the moment you open your eyes, think of something you’re looking forward to that day, and the rest of the day should fall into place.




Stretch




According to livestrong.com, stretching has many benefits, especially in the morning when it can increase blood flow and release muscle tension.




Eat Breakfast




We’ve heard this from our mothers, teachers, coaches, and pretty much everyone else. I’ll say it too, just in case you already forgot.




Drink Cold Water




Drinking a glass of cold water in the morning can wake you up faster, boost your metabolism, and it is really good for you.




Eat your frog




Okay, when I first heard this, my reaction was ‘what the heck does that mean?!’ Well here’s the full quote by Mark Twain:



What it essentially means is that you should do your hardest task in the morning and then the rest of the day will be easy.



In conclusion, you should adopt these habits, as well as some others, to have a healthy, successful, and productive day.
