Mind, body, and spirit. When the three work in harmony, the balance we experience allows us to become our most productive selves. And in this noisy, action packed world that we live in, where we are constantly on the run, achieving that balance is no easy thing. Some try meditation, others climb mountain peaks seeking the inner peace that will bring self-composure. But the way forward is often unclear. It would help to have a shepherd guide us along.

SoulCore can be that guide; it has created a workout that involves a combination of isometric exercises, stretching and overall core strengthening of the entire body. It is also a sensory experience combining candlelight, music, scripture and movement to nourish body, mind and soul. It is all paired with the prayers of the rosary.

Don’t know the rosary? No problem. Learning it through SoulCore is an enriching experience. You are guided along the way: the SoulCore leader recites the first part of each prayer out loud, and the second part of every prayer is said in silence. This gives one the opportunity to be reflective in the prayers, and go deep in their meditation.

For those who do know the rosary, SoulCore’s helps participants discover, or rediscover, the wonders and treasures of the prayers in a new and fresh way.

The workout begins with some basic stretches to warm up the body and recite the Apostle’s Creed. Push-ups are done throughout each of the Our Father’s. The movements vary for each of the Hail Mary’s. And a stretching position of surrender brings us to each Glory Be. Each Mystery begins with a scripture verse and a reflection, offering a time of rest. The end result is a feeling of relaxation, strength, and renewal – of body, mind, and soul. A typical SoulCore workout is approximately 55-60 minutes in length.

For our Step Up millennial leaders who work hard running companies that also give back to the community—taking care of yourself is a gift not only to yourself, but to those you seek to help. SoulCore nourishes body and spirit, and can provide a needed balance as you navigate your busy and hectic week.
