Organization is key to success is middle school or high school. Here are a few tips to help you keep it all together:

1.Try color coding binders and book covers for each subject so you can grab them quickly from your locker in between classes.

  1. Putting a large rubber band around your materials for each class will make it even faster and ensure you don't forget anything.

  2. Place your syllabus for each class at the beginning of each binder and make separate sections for classowork and homework.

  3. Make sure to keep a planner for all of your assignments. If you are allowed to have your phone at school, setting reminders for projects that are due can be helpful. Evernote and iStudiez Pro are great apps that can help with this.

  4. Post copies of your class schedule in your locker so you can quickly tell where you need to go next after each class.

It's a good idea to evaluate how organized you are at least once a month. It's easy to let things slide so regularly re-organizing your notebooks, locker and schedules will help you stay on track throughout the year!
