There are variety careers you can get from a bachelor's degree from a Fashion Merchandising. Fashion Merchandising can be versatile on what jobs you want to go whether you want to go to lean more toward to a creative side or more on the analytical side. Here are some careers you can get with a degree in Fashion Merchandising.

Product Manager

They are responsible for all of the products within a company's line. This career work in the creative and the business side in the production part. The creative side is to know the what is on trend and the business side is to assure it is timely produce the the products in are in good quality. Product manager monitors the product line from start to finish to assure it will deliver to the retailers on time.

Brand Marketing Manager

Branding is important for every company. As a brand marketing manager they are responsible for having a target market, have your brand own unique style, define the brands value and what it represents.

Merchandise Planner

This role is an important on the wholesaler's or manufacture's side of the industry. Becoming a merchandise planner works as a liaison for the design, production and the sales team. A merchandise planner have many responsibilities such as tracking inventory, identify trends for the future, creating financial plans, and increasing their sales.

Pattern Maker

A pattern maker works in the design and production process. They develop a pattern and use it as a prototype for their first sample of the garment. Pattern makers create their patterns by their free-hand or use a computer-aid to create a pattern.

Colorist

Colorist choose color combination that will be used in product lines. A colorist will need a strong knowledge on textiles, stay on top of current and future trends on colors, and observe consumers purchase and understand what colors influence consumers to buy.

These are some of the careers that are related to having a Fashion Merchandising degree. There are many option on what type of career path you want to go for and Fashion Merchandising does need to be all about fashion and you should explore more options on where you want to take your degree.
