Finals are right around the corner and it’s time to start preparing! It’s a crazy time for all of us college students, but it’s important that we remain as calm as possible. If you’re in over your head with the stress of finals, then try these tips!

Plan Out Your Week

Planning out your finals week is one of the most important steps for me, and it is often overlooked. If you plan out your week, rather than just trying to take on everything at once, it’s going to make things run much smoother. Make a list, or write in your planner, everything that you need to do, from studying to going to the gym to going to the grocery store. Of course, things aren’t going to be perfect, because it’s finals week, but at least having a general outline will help you.

Start Preparing Now

If you have time, go ahead and start preparing for finals week now. Print out your study guides, ask professors any questions you may have, and look ahead for extra assignments that are due that week. The more you get done ahead of time, the less you will have to deal with when exams roll around. It’s never too early to start looking over material for certain classes, especially if it’s a difficult topic you haven’t seen in a long time.

Believe In Yourself

I know it sounds cheesy, but it’s important that you believe you have done everything you can to prepare yourself. Walking into an exam with confidence is so important! Once you’re sitting in the class, ready to take the exam, there’s nothing more you can do. Even if an exam doesn’t go the way you planned, move on to the next one and try to not spend too much time hung up over it!

Most importantly, take a deep breath, relax, take your time, and kill it! Good luck on finals y’all!
