Makeup is a form of art. There’s so much that you can do with it! You can use it to express yourself, enhance your beautiful features, and try out new looks. There are a lot of options to choose from when it comes to buying makeup. It can be overwhelming when you’re deciding what to choose and it can get more stressful when you see the price tag. Don’t stress! I have compiled a list of products that you can find at a local drugstore and are dupes for designer brand products.

Primer

It’s always best to start off with a primer so that your foundation applies smoothly and stays on. Try the NYX Studio Perfect primer in place of Smashbox’s Photo Finish one. Start off on a good foot and get this NYX primer to kick off the base for your creations!

Foundation

Next, apply a foundation that will help give your skin a flawless look. Instead of using the MAC Studio Fix Foundation, try the Maybelline FIT ME! Foundation. It’s no surprise why so many people recommend this foundation as a dupe. It has great coverage and lasts the whole day!

Concealer

Now let’s make the under eyes pop with concealer. This time lets stick to Maybelline FIT ME! Concealer in place of the Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer. This Maybelline concealer will pair great with the FIT ME! Foundation. It has the perfect amount of coverage while not feeling too heavy.

Eye Shadow

Let’s Make your eyes pop by adding some warmth. Instead of the Urban Decay Naked Heat eye palette, get the e.l.f. Rose Gold eyeshadow palette, Sunset. You will save yourself $40 and can recreate the same looks! If you put concealer or an eye shadow primer before you apply the eyeshadow, that can help make the pigment pop.

EyeLiner

When you’ve finished creating your masterpiece with your e.l.f. palette finish it off with some eyeliner. For this step, I am obsessed with the Milani Stay Put Matte 17 Hour Liquid Liner because of how much control you have with it. Instead of the Lancôme Grandiôse Bendable Liquid Eyeliner, get the Milani eyeliner and feel great about how much money you have saved and the perfect cat eye you created with it.

Mascara

Add some volume and length to your eyelashes with the L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara. This is a great dupe for the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara! Curl your eyelashes beforehand with an eyelash curler then apply the L’Oreal Mascara and watch your eyes pop.

Eyebrows

Now give your eyebrows some definition and shape with an eyebrow pencil. Get the NYX Professional Makeup Micro Brow Pencil in place of the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz. This NYX pencil allows you to pay attention to detail and gives your eyebrows a natural finish.

Setting Powder

To make your foundation last and stay in place I recommend applying a setting powder. Especially for those hot days or long nights out. For this get the NYX Finishing Powder as a dupe for the Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder. Set so your art does not sweat off!

Bronzer

Sometimes foundation can wash you out and take away from your face shape. No problem just add some bronzer to add some structure to your cheeks! For this use Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer instead of the Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Bronzer.

Blush

After you give your cheeks some shape now make your cheeks pop with some blush. Save yourself $20 by using Milani Dolce Pink Baked Blush instead of the Nars Orgasm blush. This blush will give you that pop of color and a nice highlight.

Highlighter

To make your face pop, even more, use a blinding highlight. Get the Wet n Wild Mega Glo Highlighter in Precious Petals, the perfect dupe for the Becca Opal Highlighter!

Lipstick

Don’t forget your lips. One of my favorite products is the NYX Lingerie Matte Lipstick in the color of exotic. It’s the perfect shade of red to pair with a red, orange, gold eye look and it looks a lot like the Kat Von D Liquid Lipstick in the color Lolita.

Applicators

The applicators you use can make a huge difference in how the product looks on your face. You don’t need expensive tools to make your face look like a million bucks. Real Techniques is an affordable brand that sells brushes, sponges, and other tools. They sell their products in kits and individually as well.

Setting Spray

Now that your look is finished lock it in with a setting spray. A setting spray can help your look last longer similar to the setting powder. Lock it in with the e.l.f. mist and Set spray, a much affordable spray than the MAC setting spray.

An artist like you deserves the best without having to pay an arm and a leg. Enjoy these products that are almost less than ten dollars!
