This pop-up shop is a garden-filled wonderland, complete with weird cat figures, and it is a unique environment to shop in. While the whole store sells vintage 90’s chic attire with bomber jackets and oversized tees, the store itself has a story of its own. The whole store is decorated to make the guests feel as though they are in a garden filled with giant cats and interesting shaped flowers. STORY
144 10th Ave, New York, NY 10011
11am-7pm
Are you a person who cannot work at home and needs a different environment? Do you need something much more fun and interesting than Starbucks or the library? Well, STORY is a place I must recommend. Trust me, it is way better than sitting in Barnes and Noble. STORY is a store located in Manhattan. This store has different showrooms filled with chic workplace furniture that you can buy. The awesome thing about STORY is that you can actually sit down and work in the showrooms, and they even have a café as well, so you don’t have to worry about leaving your work in order to go out and buy yourself a cup of delicious coffee. It was founded by Rachel Shechtman, a former brand consultant for Kraft, Toms shoes, and Lincoln. The idea behind STORY was to create a retail concept that would serve as a matchmaker between brands and consumers, integrating strategies of marketing, merchandising, and business development. STORY is a place I recommend when nowhere else seems to give you motivation to write or finish work.
