Entering the world of adulthood brings up many firsts: first time living on your own, first time managing your own finances, and for many of us, the first time cooking for ourselves. We are excited to bring easy and delicious recipes that are perfect for first time cookers. This week we want to encourage you to save some time and money by skipping your daily coffee run and making your favorite beverage at home. Read on for three ways to make iced coffee. Spoiler alert–they are all easy and delicious!




The 50-50




  1. Fill cup with ice to the top



  2. Brew coffee and pour halfway into the cup



  3. Stir



  4. Add a ½ cup of milk – filling in the rest of the cup



  5. Add 2 tablespoons of creamer*



  6. Stir



  7. Add 1 teaspoon of sugar (optional)*



*add cream and sugar as desired




Very Mocha




  1. Fill cup with ice to the top



  2. Brew coffee and pour ¾ into the cup



  3. Stir



  4. Add a ¼ cup milk – filling in the rest of the cup



  5. Stir



  6. Add 1 tablespoon of creamer*



  7. Add 2 tablespoons of chocolate syrup



  8. Stir until well mixed and there is no more chocolate syrup on the spoon



  9. Top off with whipped cream and a drizzle of syrup (optional)



*add cream as desired




Frozen Iced Coffee




In a blender:




  1. Fill ½ cup with coffee ice cream and 5-6 large ice cubes



  2. Blend



  3. Add a ½ cup of milk and ¼ brewed coffee



  4. Blend until smooth



**For a thicker texture, add more ice cream and ice cubes
