Getting out of your comfort zone is never easy, but it’s important to do. While it’s hard for introverts and shy people to get out of their comfort zones, it’s not impossible. Stepping Up and getting out of your comfort zone is a great thing. When you get out of your comfort zone and do things you normally wouldn’t do, you are slowly getting rid of that fear. I used to hate public speaking, and I avoided it every time I had to do it. However, my job requires it, and now I love speaking in front of a crowd; I am now very comfortable with public speaking. When you do things you’re scared of, you slowly lose that fear and you get used to doing it. You slowly stop thinking that it’s so awful, and eventually, you no longer feel scared.

Try stepping out of your comfort zone because when you do, it feels like a huge accomplishment. Doing things outside of your comfort zone, or doing things that you normally wouldn’t do, allows you to feel empowered and accomplished. Every time I do something I’m nervous about, I feel as though I can tackle anything. Once you get out of your comfort zone, you’ll get this great adrenaline rush and you’ll start to believe that you’re capable of anything that comes your way. It’s an amazing feeling, and it’s something that we all should feel.
It’s a good thing to get out of your comfort zone because it makes you feel confident. I used to be terrified of attending big events alone because I was never good at talking to others. When I forced myself to start attending work events, it forced me to talk more and it eventually allowed me to get used to going to these events. I still feel awkward around people I don’t know, but I still try to force myself to open up and talk more. It’s slowly working, and the more I do it, the more confident I feel. Feeling confident is a great feeling and I want everyone to feel confident. The next time you avoid doing something out of your comfort zone, tell yourself that it’s one step closer to feeling confident. Everyone deserves to feel confident, especially you.
Getting out of your comfort zone is never easy, but it’s worth it in the long run. It’s easy to run away from things you’re scared of, but it’s braver and more courageous when you face your fears. Although getting out of your comfort zone is scary and hard, I guarantee that you’ll feel more confident, empowered, and accomplished, and you will no longer be scared. Next time you hesitate about doing something, think about all the feelings you’ll have afterwards.
