It is about that time of year — the time to cleanse your social media outlets. I believe it is always good to clean and update your social media. Here are a few tips on how to clean out your social media accounts. These tips work for all social media platforms.

Update who you’re following. Your favorite accounts may have changed. This is a great time to unfollow all the accounts you don’t really care for.

Update your bio. As human beings, we are constantly changing and we sometimes forget that we need to update our bio to change with us.

Update your feed. Nobody wants to see your old selfies from 2012. Now is the time to clean them out. Delete the photos that didn’t get a lot of likes. Out with the old and in with the new.

Take a new profile picture. If you do not regularly change your profile photo, then now is the time to do so.

Create a new flow to your accounts. What kind of content will you upload? What will you Step Up for? How often will you post? Do you want to maintain a certain aesthetic?

I hope you try out some of these quick spring cleaning tips on your social media accounts.
