Last week, I opened a personal checking account. I know, waaay overdue - but it did get me thinking about my money and what to spend it on. There are the givens, like not wasting money on coffee orders, eating out, and buying clothes just because they’re on sale, but there are other things to consider as well.
1. Suitable workwear and accessories
Honesty hour: that jean mini skirt you love? Yeah, it’s not for the office. Invest in pieces that are versatile, classic, and high quality.
2. A good computer
For about 6 years, I had a 13 inch Macbook Pro. Although I loved it, I realized that it just wasn’t working for me considering what I needed to use it for. Get a computer that will last a long time, do what you need it to do, and work across all your devices. P.S.- not to be self promoting, but these glasses are AWESOME for computer work- totally worth every penny.
3. Your skin
You’re probably thinking, ‘how the heck do I do that?’ Well, it’s easy- take care of it! Drink water, moisturize, and put on sunscreen. Whenever I talk to anyone who is older, they always say that taking care of their skin is something they wish they did more of.
4.Travel experiences
You are never done learning. It’s ironic to think that traveling is the only thing that you pay for that makes you richer.
