Valentine’s Day night should be about spending time with your special someone. However, it doesn’t have to mean spending a ton of money on dinner, activities, or gifts. Here are some date night ideas for V-day that won’t break the bank.

Watch the Sunset

If you can drive up a scenic hill in time, watching the sunset is a must. Pack a picnic dinner or some chocolate covered strawberries for a night of sunset watching and talking about all of the things you love about each other.

Cook Dinner Together

Avoid the overcrowded restaurants on Thursday night and cook a romantic meal together at home. Find a recipe online and cuddle up by the stove while enjoying a glass of wine or sparkling cider. Make the dinner even more romantic by eating by candlelight.

Spa Night at Home

Bring the spa to your house by giving each other massages, applying face masks, and relaxing in the tub with a pretty pink bath bomb. By spending the evening relaxing, you will be able to enjoy each other’s company and cherish your time together.

Camp at Home

Set up blankets or sleeping bags on the living room floor and start a fire to keep things cozy on the cold winter night. Roast some marshmallows in the oven or microwave to make quick s’mores and watch some of your favorite rom-coms while reminiscing on your own romance.

Explore a New Area of Town

Find a part of downtown you haven’t visited before and play tourist together for the night. Explore different shops and try out a new restaurant for a Valentine’s Day night that you are sure to remember.

Watch a Movie and Order In

Take off the pressure of cooking by ordering from one of your favorite restaurants on your local food delivery service app. By doing this, you avoid the hassle of making reservations somewhere and can enjoy each other’s company in your own home and watch one of your favorite movies together.
