Changes to the new SAT haven't made it any better. Noodle CEO John Katzman explains why it's still a lousy test and outlines an alternative to college admissions testing.
About once a decade, the College Board announces changes to the SAT. But none of these changes have ever made it a better test. The changes actually just make it more like the ACT, which has become more popular than the SAT in recent years. More importantly, both tests are off base. They squeeze out real learning in favor of testing how students stack up to a set of arbitrary standards.
