Every season has its popular foods and dishes that everyone needs to eat or try. Fall is no exception to this as there are so many different foods that you need to try this fall. Sometimes, trying foods during a specific season makes the season more fun and festive. It’s a great way to get into the holiday and season spirit or bring people together with delicious food. For those of you who are wondering what foods there are this fall, there’s plenty for you to try or create yourself.

Pumpkin Spice Latte. Although this isn’t an actual food, it still counts. Pumpkin spice latte is on the list because every year people anticipate when pumpkin spice season begins. Starbucks, of course, participates every year with their pumpkin spice latte and it’s one of their most popular seasonal drinks. If you’ve never tried a pumpkin spice latte, you definitely need to try it or at least try foods that are pumpkin spiced.

Caramel apples. Caramel apples are year-round but they taste better during the fall. It’s a great thing to snack on while you do your fall activities like apple picking, visiting a patch farm, etc.

Roasted squash is another popular dish for the fall. The great thing about roasted squash is that there is so many different ways to make it. You can add many different ingredients as there isn’t a “wrong" or “right" way. For anyone who doesn’t want to make something so extravagant, a simple roasted squash recipe does the trick.

Brussel sprouts. Not everyone is going to like brussel sprouts and that’s okay. Brussel sprouts can be eaten year round but it feels better when you’re eating it during the fall season. You can eat the brussel sprouts alone or you can use it to compliment the turkey for Thanksgiving or with ribs. It’s a great Thanksgiving side dish but it’s also a great dish to compliment most foods as well. They’re surprisingly delicious and a great holiday food to try!

Butternut squash soup. Butternut squash soup is great for those chilly nights during the fall to help keep you warm or you can have it as a side dish during Thanksgiving.

Pumpkin pie. Pumpkin pie always tastes better in the fall because it’s the perfect time to eat it. It’s a great way to be festive and get in the seasonal spirit.

Apple pie. For those of you who don’t like pumpkin pie, you can’t say no to apple pie. Apple pie is another food that’s a tradition for you to eat during the fall.

Pot roast. You don’t have to wait until Thanksgiving to try all these delicious foods. Pot roast is a great food to try this fall because when temperatures drop, the pot roast is great to keep you warm and your stomach satisfied. It’s a great meal to bring the family together and a meal to cook for yourself as well.

Tomato soup. Like the butternut squash soup, tomato soup is perfect for when you want to warm up and stay in the heat. It’s a great comfort food and it’s also delicious. Fall is the best time of the year to try a tomato soup! It’ll satisfy your cravings and also keep you warm when temperatures drop.

Beef stew. Related to a pot roast, a beef stew is another alternative for you to try. With a beef stew, there are also vegetables in it so it’s a great way to get your proteins in and stay healthy. Some people wait until Thanksgiving to make it while others wait for a cold, rainy day to make the perfect stew.

Although there are still a ton more of foods you need to try this fall, these are some of the most popular dishes and foods that people tend to eat or try. There are some foods that just taste better in certain seasons and temperatures, and these foods listed are no exception to fall.
